Cutural Pavilion
project type: concept design, design development, planning and develpment approval, spatial coordination, technical design, detailing
year: 2020
place: Bucharest
team: DRS Architects
Located in the middle of the park, the
project seeks to make space in a neutral
manner, between trees and greenery,
camouflaging itself into the environment.
As three grennery lanes evolve gently from the ground, they cover the functional space underneath and at the same time they create new forms of landscape, giving back the public space.

Collective Housing Constanța
project type: design development, planning and develpment approval, spatial coordination, technical design, detailing
year: 2021-2023
place: Constanța
status: construction phase
team: DRS Architects
Through the morphological study, we focused on the response of the building to the two types of environments found in the context. This is where the general idea of the project to use different coverings emerged. On one hand, the building addresses the built environment to the west through a more solid façade, with a higher degree of opacity (on the 1st and 2nd floors). On the other hand, towards the east, the construction will have a more permeable appearance, aided by terraces arranged in horizontal steps. This is done precisely to create a closer connection with the external environment. Last but not least, the contribution of vegetation from the promenade is incorporated into the project through planters arranged on each floor.

Collective Housing Pallady
project type: concept design, design development, planning and development approval, spatial coordination
year: 2022-2023
place: Buchrest
team: DRS Architects
The proposed collective housing building represents a continuation of the previously built collective housing complex in the northern vicinity and completes the street frontage on Pallady Boulevard. From a compositional standpoint, the project is based on a discreet insertion of the building into the existing built environment through the silhouette of the architectural object. Fragmentations in the overall volumetric composition are proposed to avoid the impression of continuous and homogeneous frontages. The alternation of architectural elements, which create the effect of successive depths in the volumetry, brings the building to the scale of the city and implicitly to the scale of the inhabitant.

Lake House 2
project type: technical design, detailing, execution phase
year: 2019-2022
place: Bucharest
status: built
team: DRS Architects
The building is a multi-apartment building project located in the western part of Bucharest, near Lake Morii, an area experiencing significant urban densification due to the rise of new office buildings focused on creative industries and new technologies.
The building consists of two volumes connected above a shared base, articulated to fit the site's geometry and create a distinctive entrance at the corner where the volumes intersect. This fragmentation is enhanced by a differentiated color scheme: tall volumes are clad in gray-anthracite fiber-cement panels, while the connecting volume features an abstract grid with uneven openings over a recessed white plaster façade.
